Sharing Faith In A Tangible Way For Those Who Are In Dire Need!
There is no better way for people to get involved in foreign missions than through being a part of a short-term mission team. Teams are a huge part of what makes Faith In Action a vibrant and effective mission. Many of the volunteers who donate their time and expertise to a project in the mission field are rewarded far beyond just a sense of accomplishment, they experience a taste of what it is like to live and work in a foreign culture, build life-long relationships among their peers, and are challenged to grow spiritually.
The teams that come to Guatemala through Faith In Action are organized and efficiently deployed for a specific purpose. They are proven to be of great benefit to the accomplishment of our many medical, construction and agricultural projects as well as to helping us spread the love of Christ to people who have never truly experienced it. Therefore, we are always open to receiving anyone and any team that would like to come and serve with us in Christ.
We are a catalyst for Christ…
As Faith In Action has lead teams into the mission field, we have seen youth ignited with zeal and professionals renewed with vision to work in the Vine. Church leaders get excited about getting the gospel out from their local churches to the ends of the earth. As a missionary organization, Faith In Action offers the Body of Christ the opportunity to share their faith in tangible ways with people who are suffering.
How do I get involved?
For teams already scheduled to come out, we have some information that you might want to read before coming. On the bottom of this page click on the “Team Packet” links to download PDF files containing important information. Each volunteer team member is responsible for signing and remitting the “liability waver” form to his/her team leader before the start of the trip.
